It’s really not that bad, promise
Hey everyone. I’ve decided to attempt a little promotion of my book. I may even try to do some paid ads and such, just to see if I can get it in the hands of some randos. Like, I’m technically a published author, but I don’t feel like a published author. Recently, I was asked what would make me feel like a published author, and I had to think about that for a minute.
How to win?
There are a lot of ways I could feel successful by this project, and I’ve already accomplished some of them. But success is not really what I’m after, per se. Ultimately, I think what will make me really feel accomplished is if I hear/read/see someone talking about my book that I don’t personally know. Like, that’ll really do it for me. So that’s what I’m after, and I need your help. Don’t worry, though, it’s not hard.
So what do I need?
Reviews. Public feedback. Ideally, a written review and rating for each of the four installments, as well as one for the compendium. I know that’s actually a non-trivial amount of work, especially for those of us who either don’t like writing or stress out over all the writing we do (especially public writing). But it would really really help me to get some words out there about not just whether my book is good, but why.
So if you have a few moments and can do this, any/all feedback is appreciated. If you would honestly rate one or more of them low, that’s okay. Do it. And write why. But real reviews from real people would be extraordinarily helpful right now.
Okay so where?

One last thing…
Seriously, I’m sorry to have to ask you to do yet another thing after so many of you have gone out of your way to read my work. Some of you even insisted on paying me for it, which is incredible. So if you don’t leave any reviews, it’s okay. But I would love to be able to quote you on the jacket of future editions….
Kthxbai,
Loren
